Welcome to this section, where we will talk about role-playing!
Role-playing is a powerful tool for fostering creativity, social skills, and problem-solving in young children. In this section, we explore how role-playing activities can enrich the kindergarten experience by encouraging children to step into different characters and scenarios. Whether through pretend play, costume dress-up, or guided scenarios, role-playing helps kids develop empathy, communication, and teamwork—all while having fun!
To carry out this activity, we will need various materials for students to use in order to embody the character they want to be. We can have materials from different themes such as space, doctors, supermarkets, schools, circuses, and animals to encourage role-playing.
A way to introduce ICT to this activity could be using a website to generate a random pick. Place different options, and the one selected is the one the kids will have to play around.
